My Black & Blue Burger made with blue cheese, red onions, bacon an a fried egg. Smoked on the RecTeq Bull pellet grill and seared on the Bullseye, then placed on a garlic butter toasted brioche bun for a great pub style burger!
Form two 4 oz. patties with the ground beef.
Add blue cheese to the center of the first patty and place the second patty on top. Seal the edges to the cheese doesn't ooze out during cooking. Coat both sides of the burger with the blackening rub.

Place the burger the pellet grill preheated to 225F.
While the burger is in the smoker grill the red onion and bacon, and combine the garlic cloves and butter , and melt. Fry the egg once the searing step starts below, and baste the bun with the garlic butter and toast on the grill.
Set aside.
Once the burger has hit about 135F, remove it from the smoker and sear both sides on a hot grill.
Assemble the burger starting with the onions, then bacon, and topped off with the fried egg.
