Description

Stop buying barbeque sauce. You can make your own right in your kitchen in just a few minutes! This recipe has the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and goes great on pork, chicken or anything else that requires BBQ sauce. Adjust the amount of jalapenos and/or brown sugar to increase/decrease the spicy and sweet respectively!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Ketchup
  • 1.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Jalapenos (Pickled, drained, and diced)
  • 2 tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix

    Add ketchup, brown sugar, jalapenos, molasses, Worcestershire Sauce, granulated garlic, salt and pepper to a sauce pan.

  2. Cook

    Cook over medium-high heat, stirring often until the mixture comes to a boil.

    Lower heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes.

    Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature.

    Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, up to 3 months.
